Gernot Sauter is the most prolific arranger of zither music of all time.  He wrote zither arrangements for zither solo's, duets, trios, quartets, zither orchestra arrangements, and more. The arrangements include, but are not limited to the Descant Zither voice alone.  Many pieces written also include other zither voices, like Quint Zither, Alt Zither, and Bass Zither, as well as guitar.
